Querari filly Hearts On Fire turned the 4Racing Welcomes Work Riders You Maiden Plate (F and M) into a one-horse race.
The Lucky Houdalakis trained three-year-old pulled well clear of her rivals to win as she liked by four and a half lengths.
Making just her third start on Tuesday, Hearts On Fire had finished third last time out.
Bred by Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein, the Querari filly is out of the Elusive Fort mare Fort Ember.

Querari’s second success on Tuesday came when his son Beynac made much of the running to land the Play Soccer 6,10 and 13 Maiden Plate (1800m).
Under an inspired ride from Piere Strydom, the Brett and James Crawford trained three-year-old pinched a big lead and never looked in danger of defeat, with Beynac winning by seven lengths.
Bred by Dr Veronique Kritzinger, Beynac is out of the Var mare Varsity Belle, making him a full-brother to the smart performer Invincabelle.
Currently South Africa’s Leading Sire of 2YOs for 2024-2025, Querari is also the sire of this season’s graded stakes winners Rainbow Lorikeet and Questioning.
