Klawervlei Stud’s exciting young sire Twice Over is from a red hot family, whose members continue to shine the world over.
Twice Over, whose close relative Time Test recently retired to take up stud duties at the National Stud, is a half-brother to a an emphatic UK Friday winner.

Breath Caught, a half-brother to the four time G1 winning Twice Over, justified even money favouritism when getting off the mark at Doncaster and looks capable of building on this first win.
The Bated Breath colt had been second at Sandown previously but made no mistakes on Friday when Breath Caught skated up to win by 3.75 lengths over 1400 metres.
Breath Caught and Twice Over both hail from the same family as G1 winners Antonoe, Passage Of Time, and Timepiece, as well as Horse Of The Year and influential sire Damascus.
Twice Over, a dual winner of the G1 Champion Stakes, has made an exceptional start to his stud career.
His first crop includes a pair of hugely promising, and unbeaten, 3yos in Do It Again and Sand And Sea (with the latter having captured last season’s G1 Tsogo Sun Gold Medallion).
A former European champion himself, who earned over £2 000 000 in prize money, Twice Over will be represented by nine lots at the upcoming CTS Ready To Run Sale presented by Lanzerac Hotel & Spa. Twice Over’s lots include a filly out of G3 Champagne Stakes winner Countess Corlia (Lot 33), a colt bred on the same cross as Sand And Sea (Lot 74), and a colt from the family of international G1 winners Atlantic Jewel, King’s Apostle, Embassy and Pass The Peace (Lot 98).
