Wednesday double for Master Of My Fate

22nd October 2020

Varsfontein Stud’s inform Jet Master horse Master Of My Fate, who is represented in both graded feature races at Kenilworth this Saturday, continues to churn out the winners and the bay supplied two more winners at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday afternoon.

The former Premier Trophy winner’s first success on Wednesday came when his daughter Afriel romped home to land the first race for trainer Clinton Binda and Lyle Hewitson.
Bred by Maine Chance Farms, the filly hit the front 100m from home and drew off to post a 1.3 maiden win when scoring over 1000m.

Master Of My Fate’s second success at Hollywoodbets Greyville came in the fifth race when another daughter Purple Persuasion powered home to post a just under three-parts of a length win over 1400m.
The Brett Crawford trained filly, who was ridden to victory by Jabu Jacobs, has now won twice in her career.
Bred by the Ndoro Stud, Purple Persuasion was produced by the Go Deputy mare Music Pass.

Sire of Equus Champion Tempting Fate and 2020 G1 Premiers Champion Stakes heroine Sentbydestiny, Master Of My Fate will be represented by his promising 3yo daughter Zarina in Saturday’s G2 Western Cape Fillies Championship, and by his son Master Of Power in the same day’s G3 Cape Classic at Kenilworth.

Master Of My Fate, whose unbeaten relative Malmoos features among the entries for the upcoming G3 Graham Beck Stakes, has 19 lots on offer at the upcoming Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale, and a further seven lots on the CTS Ready To Run, Unbroken 2 Year Old & Mixed Sale.
