Three-year-old Danube made it two wins from his last three starts when he won Wednesday’s Bet With Tabgold -The Intelligent Bet Class 5 (1400m).
Under Damyan Pillay, the What A Winter gelding kept finding in the closing stages to stay on and win by a neck.

Bred by Riethuiskraal Stud, Danube (who has won or finished second in each of his last three starts) races for Classic Racing (Pty) Ltd.

What A Winter struck again in the next race when his son Thisiswhatitmeans won the www.galloptv.co.za Middle Stakes (1200m).
Under Sean Veale, the MJ Odendaal trained four-year-old made it a hatrick of wins with his near one and a half length win.

Thisiswhatitmeans, who has won or been placed in 11 of 14 starts, was bred by Shadwell Stud.
The gelding, who is out of the Star Witness mare Shufoog, races for Hollywood Racing.

What A Winter, whose progeny include such champions as Isivunguvungu and Russet Air, also enjoyed success at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth when his son Tenpenny won the sixth race on the card.
