Varsfontein’s multiple champion sire Gimmethegreenlight had a day to remember on Wednesday when he supplied a trio of winners at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth.
Gimmethegreenlight’s first success on Wednesday came when his three-year-old daughter Give Me Everything won the Champagne Maiden Plate (F and M) (1600m).

Under Craig Zackey, the Dean Kannemeyer trained filly stormed home to win by three parts of a length.

Bred and owned by Varsfontein Stud, Give Me Everything, who is out of the Dynasty mare My Everything, was making her fourth start on Wednesday.

Gimmethegreenlight is also the sire of four-year-old Noon Day Gun, who won the fifth race on Wednesday.

The Paul Reeves trained gelding made it win number two when he landed the RaceCape Powered By Hollywoodbets Class 5 (1400m) by half a length.
Bred by Patricia Devine Investments (Pty) Ltd, Noon Day Gun is out of the Captain Al mare Jets-A-Blazing and is bred on the same cross as G1 winning champions Proceed and Sandringham Summit.

The champion’s third and final winner on the day came when his gelded son King Viserys won the ninth and final race.
The Gimmethegreenlight sired four-year-old romped home to win the Hollywoodbets Bright Future D Stakes (1000m) for Piet Botha and Gavin Lerena.
Bred by Cheveley Stud, King Viserys is out of the Overlord mare Lady Starlett.
