Ridgemont Highlands’ triple G1 winning sire Jackson had a quick double at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday afternoon.

The son of Dynasty’s first success came when his daughter Jack’s Bird downed Fillies Guineas runner up Mary O to land a graduation plate over 1600m for Michael Roberts and Lyle Hewitson.
Bred by the Cheveley Stud, the four-year-old stayed on to edge out the talented Mary O and score by a neck, with another Jackson daughter, Jackson Wells, taking fourth spot.
Out of the Al Mufti mare Gal Mufti, Jack’s Bird has now won twice, with the filly having previously contested such notable feature races as the G1 Thekwini Stakes, G2 World Sports Betting Fillies Guineas and G3 Flamboyant Stakes.
Jackson’s second winner on Sunday came when his son Rock With Me broke his maiden when winning the eighth and final race on the card.
From the same family as outstanding sire Smart Strike and the promising US stallion Speightster, Jackson had a fine season in 2019-2020, with his top performers headed by G3 Vasco Da Gama Prix du Cap/G3 Poinsettia Stakes winner Pretty Young Thing, Winter Solstice Stormsvlei Stakes victress Eva Eileen and millionaires Pure State and Count Jack.
