Maine Chance Farms’ red hot sire Querari came up with his second G2 Debutante winner when his exciting two-year-old daughter Maryah landed the G2 Prosport International Debutante presented by Gagasi FM (1200m) at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday.

Under Sean Veale, the Lezeanne Forbes trained filly romped home to win impressively by nearly two and a half lengths.
A smart winner on debut, the Connemara Stud bred Maryah has now won twice from just three starts.
The Querari daughter was a R300 000 buy from the 2020 Cape Premier Yearling Sale.
Out of the Second Empire mare Mary Hinge, Maryah joins Cosmic Light as a Debutante winner for Querari.
Maryah is the 26th stakes winner for Querari (the Leading Sire of 2Yos in South Africa in 2018-2019), with the latter’s other current flagbearers headed by G1 winning sprinter Rio Querari and G2 Tibouchina Stakes heroine Caya Coco.
She is one of 14 two-year-old winners for Querari this season, with the son of Oasis Dream’s tally of two-year-old winners also including the stakes winning fillies Homely Girl and Maria Querol.
