One World filly makes all in KZN

27th May 2024

Drakenstein Stud’s sensational young stallion One World came up with his 19th first-crop winner when his daughter Ladies World won at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday.
Two-year-old Ladies World put up a game performance when she made all to win in open company on Monday while continuing the wonderful run enjoyed by her sire.
Under Richard Fourie, the Harold Crawford/Michelle Rix trained filly was quickly away and went off to make the running in Monday’s Tabgold Soccer Any10 Maiden Plate (F&M) over 1600m.
Ladies World kept finding more in the closing stages and stayed on to score by half a length.
Bred by Ridgemont Highlands, Ladies World is out of the Dynasty mare Irish Maid.
One World had enjoyed success at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth one day earlier when his daughter Worldcraft won the first race on the card.
South Africa’s Leading First Season Sire and Leading Sire of 2YOs for 2023-2024, One World is on track to set a new record for individual two-year-old winners for a first-season sire in a single South African season.
The champion son of Captain Al is set to be represented in Saturday’s G1 Gold Medallion by his sons One More and United Nation.
