Varsfontein Stud’s top-class homebred stallion Master Of My Fate enjoyed more black type success at Borrowdale Park on Sunday.
His four-year-old daughter Waiting On Charllie picked up a valuable black type victory when she won Sunday’s Listed Sable Flyers (1260m).
It was a first stakes win for Waiting On Charlie, with the filly having finished runner up in both the Listed The Robin Bruss And Peter Lovemore Zimbabwe Oaks and Listed Silver Slipper previously.

Under Philsande Mxoli, four-year-old Waiting On Charlie powered home to claim Sunday’s Listed feature by an emphatic five lengths.

Bred by Sandra Michelle Ajex and Charles Palmer, the daughter of Master Of My Fate races for the Brumby Syndicate.

Waiting On Charlie is out of the Western Winter mare Nina Katrina.

Her inform sire Master Of My Fate enjoyed some great results at Saturday’s East Cape Awards ceremony.
Not only was his star daughter Anotherdanceforme crowned the East Cape’s Champion 3 Year Old Filly and Champion  Polytrack Filly/Mare, but Master Of My Fate mare Epikleros was crowned the region’s Champion Older Filly/Mare.
