Varsfontein Stud’s inform sire Master Of My Fate looks to have come up with yet another smart sort in the form of Secret Fate.

The latter made the perfect start to her career when she made an impressive, winning debut at the Vaal on Thursday.
A two-year-old filly trained by Sean Tarry, the white faced Secret Fate turned Thursday’s 4Racing Welcomes You Maiden Juvenile Plate (Fillies) (1400m) into a one-horse race.

Under Keagan De Melo, Secret Fate, defying a slow start, pulled well clear to win as she liked by five and a quarter lengths.

Bred and owned by Drakenstein Stud, Secret Fate is out of the Elusive Fort mare Secret Potion.

She is the ninth two-year-old winner this season for Master Of My Fate, with the latter having had, thus far, more juvenile winners in 2025-2026 than the likes of One World and Vercingetorix.

Master Of My Fate has been enjoying a tremendous run of form again this season. In recent weeks, the son of Jet Master has been responsible for Listed World Sports Betting East Cape Derby winner Anotherdanceforme and Castle Tankard hero Pocket Watch.
