Ridgemont’s exciting young stallion Malmoos came up with a fourth first-crop winner on Thursday.
His two-year-old son Life In Colour made all to get off the mark in fine style at the Vaal on Thursday.

Trained by Corne Spies, the Malmoos gelding was given a fine ride by Mickaelle Michel in Thursday’s #Youcanbetonus! Maiden Juvenile Plate (1400m).
Michel quickly took her mount to the front, and Life In Colour kept galloping strongly out in front to win by four and a half lengths.

Making his third start on Thursday, Life In Colour had finished third on his previous start.
Bred by Northfields Stud, the son of Malmoos races for Messrs R P Macnab, C D Brown, P Gobrie, S Poriazis, X Spies, V Mahabeer, A R Asaram, M Pillay, J Soobiah, P W Viljoen & Adv J J B Schutte.

Out of the Medaglia D’Oro mare Mina Salaam, Life In Colour was a R500 000 buy from the 2025 Premier Yearling Sale.

He joins Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery winner Marchland, Within Reason and Malibu Ice as early winners for the Captain Al sired Triple Crown winner Malmoos.
