Boland Stud will be offering nine lots, by such sires as Captain Al, Trippi, What A Winter and Querari, at the 2019 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

The Ceres farm will also be offering a half-brother (Lot 407) to the very smart filly Dancing Queen, who won for a fourth time, in just eight starts, on Tuesday.
Trained by Roy Magner, Dancing Queen (Mambo In Seattle –Jet Princess) provided in-form jockey Gavin Lerena with one of four wins at the Vaal on Tuesday when the 3yo filly stayed on stoutly to land the Save The Date 4 May Gin n’ Roses Festival FM 84 handicap over 1000m.
In the process, Dancing Queen made it back to back wins, with the Boland Stud bred filly having scored over 1000m last time out. The filly is a credit to her connections, with Dancing Queen having won or placed in all but one of her eight starts.
Boland Stud will be offering a half-brother to this classy filly by the hugely exciting multiple G1 winner Wylie Hall at this year’s National Sale.
Wylie Hall, whose legendary sire Redoute’s Choice passed away this week, has made a tremendous start with his first two-year-olds this season including Listed Storm Bird Stakes winner Twilight Moon and debut winner Wily Lass.
From the immediate family of 2019 G1 winners Yourdeel and Melody Belle, Wylie Hall was a superb athlete whose wins included both the G1 Champions Challenge and G1 SA Derby.
