Varsfontein Stud’s young stallion Master Of My Fate’s progeny have been in a rich, winning vein of form of late, and the magnificent son of Jet Master was at it again on Wednesday, when Master Of My Fate had yet another debut winner.

This time, it was two-year-old filly Naoshima who won first time of asking, when that Cheveley Stud bred filly scored a 1.3 length win on debut for Dennis Drier (who also handled Master Of My Fate) and jockey Sean Veale, when victorious over 1000m at Greyville on the polytrack.
Out of the Western Winter mare Netsuke, Naoshima was a R350 000 buy from the 2018 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
She is the fifth two-year-old winner this season for her exciting sire Master Of My Fate, whose other juvenile winners include unbeaten Ruffian Stakes winner Basadi Faith and Sunday’s debut winner Master Of Illusion.
Master Of My Fate, whose first crop is headed by multiple graded stakes winning millionaire Twist Of Fate and Kenyan star Silverstone Air, is set to be represented by his Derby Trial winning son Gift For The Gap in Saturday’s G1 SA Derby.
The son of Jet Master has 26 lots on offer at next month’s National Yearling Sale.
