The Millstream Stud Farm based Noble Tune made headlines at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday, when he supplied an eye catching debut winner.

Noble Tune’s gelded two-year-old son Fight Song defied his 14-1 starting price by powering home, under log leading jockey Warren Kennedy to win first time out by half a length, in open company, over 1400m on the polytrack.
Bred by Mrs Lynette Ryan, Fight Song is trained by Gareth Van Zyl.
The only son of top US sire Unbridled’s Song standing at stud in South Africa, Noble Tune was a high-class performer in his own right.
The half-brother to US champion, and rising star sire, Honor Code, won the G3 Pilgrim Stakes at two before finishing second in that year’s G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf.

Noble Tune, whose, went on to capture the G2 American Turf Stakes at three, and eventually retired to stud having won four of just seven starts and earned just under $500 000.

The regally bred Noble Tune, who is out of Storm Cat’s stakes winning daughter Serena’s Cat, claims legendary US champion Serena’s Song as his third dam.
