The Black Swan Stud based Elusive Fort looks to have a top-class 3yo son on his hands in the form of Catch Twentytwo.
The latter made it back to back graded stakes wins when he won the G3 Tony Ruffel Stakes at Turffontein on Saturday afternoon.

Victorious in the G2 World Sports Betting Dingaans last time out, the Paul Peter trained Catch Twentytwo made it a graded stakes double when he won the 2021 Tony Ruffel Stakes in fine style.

Under Gavin Lerena, the Narrow Creek Stud bred gelding made it three wins from just seven starts with a half length win over stablemate Mk’s Pride.

Catch Twentytwo, a R120 000 buy from the 2019 National Yearling Sale, is out of the winning Argonaut mare Ignition Lady.

He is one of several high-class 3yos for Elusive Fort this season, with others including the impressive, and unbeaten, Kommetdieding and the likes of Red Ten and Shavout.
