The colt was an R380 000 purchase from the 2023 Cape Yearling Sale.
His sire Buffalo Bill Cody was a high-class performer who won six of ten starts, and six of his first seven starts.
Buffalo Bill Cody is a son of triple champion Australian sire Redoute’s Choice, whose other sire sons include four times Australian champion sire Snitzel, the hugely successful Not A Single Doubt and top South African sire Rafeef.
Another son of Redoute’s Choice, Alabama Express, is currently the Leading First Season Sire in Australia for 2023-2024, while Redoute’s Choice also ranks as the broodmare sire of prominent Australian sire Zoustar.
