Klawervlei Stud’s well performed young stallion Royal Mo looks set to be represented by his first runner at Kenilworth on Saturday.
Trainer Piet Botha has entered the Royal Mo filly Bella Mo in the second race, a Maiden Juvenile Plate for fillies, at Kenilworth this weekend.

Bred by the Stone Hill Stud, Bella Mo gets the services of Keanen Steyn on Saturday.

She will be the very first starter for her exciting young sire, winner of the 2017 G3 Robert B. Lewis Stakes and third in the same year’s G1 Santa Anita Derby.

Royal Mo will be bidding to continue the great success that his star sire Uncle Mo has had as a young sire of sires.
Also responsible for dual Breeders’ Cup winner Golden Pal, Uncle Mo is already the sire of such promising sires as Nyquist and Outwork, as well as the ill-fated Laoban.

North America’s Leading Sire of 2YOs and Leading First Season Sire in 2015, Uncle Mo is currently the sire of 75 stakes winners, with his runners having already amassed more than $182 million in stakes.

His top-class son Royal Mo is out of a daughter of US champion sire Saint Ballado and the remarkably tough racemare Irish Linnet.
