The Sandown Stud based Pathfork continues to churn out winners all over South Africa, and the former Irish champion was at it again over the weekend, with Pathfork supplying a pair of winners at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday.

Pathfork’s first success on Sunday came when his daughter Chanty Lane captured the seventh race, the Online form guide www.gallop.co.za FM 86 Handicap (F&M) over 1400 metres.
Under Gareth Wright, the Wendy Whitehead trained four-year-old put daylight between herself and her rivals with a clear cut three length win.

Bred by Riverton Stud, Chanty Lane has now won twice, and been placed a further four times.

She is out of the Goldmark mare Remarkable.

Her sire Pathfork also provided the winner of the eighth and final race on Sunday, when Pathfork gelding Canadian Bolt captured the Hollywoodbets Bright Future MR 72 Handicap (1000m).
Under Kyle Strydom, the six-year-old gelding powered home to score by three-parts of a length for owner-trainer Robbie Hill.

Out of the Arch mare Quebec Express, the Highlands bred Canadian Bolt has now won twice.

His G1 winning sire Pathfork is set to be represented in Saturday’s G1 World Sports Betting Presents The Gauteng Summer Cup by his recent G2 Allied Steelrode-Onamissionmile winning son Bingwa.
