Wilgerbosdrift’s G1 Travers Stakes winning sire Flower Alley made news at the first session of Fasig-Tipton’s Select Yearling Sale on Wednesday.

His champion daughter My Wandy’s Girl was responsible for the second top priced colt sold at Wednesday’s session, with her Into Mischief colt (Lot 268) knocked down for $600 000.
Consigned by Summerfield, Agent for Stonestreet, the bay was sold to West Bloodstock and is expected to join trainer Todd Pletcher.
Summerfield’s Francis Vanlangendonck said of the colt, “He’s a really good Into Mischief. He’s correct, hes got a good body on him; a good mind. Those horses are easy to sell. I’m just blessed to have Stonestreet give me horses like that. He’s a nice horse.”
My Wandy’s Girl, who is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Unbridled Secret, was Puerto Rico’s champion imported filly at three, and also captured the G2 Barbara Fritchie Handicap at Laurel.
In total, she won 15 of 25 starts including six stakes races, and banked over $600 000 in stakes.
The daughter of Flower Alley was sold to Stonestreet for $700 000 at the 2014 Keeneland November Sale.
