Ascot Stud’s well-bred sire Global View looks to have a smart son on his hands in the form of Aspect.
On Tuesday afternoon, the latter made it four wins in a row when running out a ready winner at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth.
The Vaughan Marshall trained Aspect was given a fine ride by Mpumelelo Mjoka in Tuesday’s Cape Turf Club Syndicates Class 3 (1400m).
Mjoka quickly took his mount to the front, before bringing Aspect down the outside of the track.
Aspect stayed on strongly and won by nearly half a length.
Bred by Ridgemont Highlands, four-year-old gelding Aspect is out of the Jet Master mare Sky Castle.
Aspect, who benefitted from a wind op earlier, has now banked more than R350 000 in stakes.
His multiple graded stakes winning sire Global View has been in good form of late and is also the sire of impressive recent two-year-old winner Disting. The latter made a big impression when romping home to break her maiden by more than three and a half lengths on Sunday and she looks to be a filly of real promise.
