The Hemel ‘N Aarde Stud based Horizon gained a further boost to his pedigree when his half-sister Sanskrift made it back to back wins at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday afternoon.

A three-year-old daughter of Duke Of Marmalade, the Dennis Bosch trained Sanskrift made it win number three when she scored over 1400m.
Under jockey Craig Zackey, Sanskrift stayed on to score by a head in Wednesday’s race, and hopefully she can go in again soon.

Bred by Maine Chance Farms, Sanskrift is a full-sister to G2 KRA Fillies Guineas winner Santa Clara and to G3 Cartier Politician Stakes winnner Horizon.

The latter, who shares his outstanding sire Dynasty with promising young stallions Act Of War, Futura and Legislate, is out of a full-sister to South Africa’s reigning champion sire Silvano.

Horizon’s first foals arrive this year.
