Varsfontein Stud’s top-class sire Master Of My Fate enjoyed a feature race double over the weekend.
His top-class three-year-old daughter Anotherdanceforme made it seven wins from eight starts when she romped home to a brilliant victory in Friday’s Listed Breeders Guineas with Master Of My Fate gelding Jet Force going on to win the Listed Play ‘N Go Jet Master Stakes at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth the following day.
Under Richard Fourie, Anotherdanceforme was always travelling well in Friday’s 1600m contest. When asked the question, the Alan Greeff trained sophomore kicked into overdrive and powered away to thrash her outclassed rivals by an emphatic four and a quarter lengths.
In landing the 2026 Breeders’ Guineas, Anotherdanceforme picked up the fourth black type win of her career, with this tally headed by the 2025 G2 SplashOut Golden Slipper (where she vanquished subsequent G1 World Sports Betting Cape Fillies Guineas winner Quickstepgal into second).
Bred by Varsfontein Stud, the once beaten filly races for Peter Moor.
Anotherdanceforme, a full-sister to 2024 Listed Sweet Chestnut Stakes winner Princess Izzy, is out of the What A Winter mare Destiny Dancer.
Friday’s winner was a R650 000 purchase from the 2024 National Yearling Sale.
Anotherdanceforme’s inform sire struck again when Jet Force won Saturday’s Play ‘N Go Jet Master Stakes (1600m). Under Grant Van Niekerk, the gelded four-year-old raced off the pace early on in Saturday’s R275 000 contest. The Grant Van Niekerk ridden Jet Force stormed home down the outside of the track to get up in the shadow of the post and win by a long neck.
Bred by Beaumont Stud, Jet Force races for Messrs Denis Le Breton & A L Taylor, Mr K & Miss K Geemooi & Mrs G C Hutchinson.
The lightly raced Jet Force, who is out of the Var mare Ooh La Var, has won five of just nine starts.
