Depeche, a half-sister to Ridgemont Highlands’ exciting stallion Potala Palace, picked up her second career victory when successful over 1800m at Kenilworth on Saturday.
The Silvano filly, a full-sister to recent November Stakes winner Streak Of Silver, stormed home to post a half-length win for trainer Brett Crawford and jockey Corne Orffer.

The consistent Depeche has now won or placed in seven of her 11 outings.
She is a half-sister to a pair of G1 winners in Potala Palace (Premier’s Champion Stakes) and the unbeaten Front And Centre (WSB Cape Fillies Guineas). The latter, a daughter of Highlands’ top sire Dynasty, has won all four of her races and holds an entry in the G1 Bidvest Majorca Stakes.
This is the family of classic winners Golan and North Light, and the outstanding stallions Sadler’s Wells, Nureyev and Fairy King.
A son of world champion racehorse Singspiel (whose progeny include the champions Lahudood, Solow, and , Potala Palace has made a bright start with his first 3yos this season including G3 BMW Politician Stakes runner up Senatla, the stakes placed Watsonia, feature race winner Dalai’s Promise, and the very promising Palace Chapel –a winner of three of only four starts.
Senatla has been entered for the G1 Cape Derby on Sun Met, while Dalai’s Promise has been entered for the CTS 1600 and CTS 1200 (a race which Palace Chapel is also entered in).
