Fourth on debut, to the feature race nominated Speedpoint, Supreme Orator ran on smartly to post a ½ length success for owners Fiona Carmichael and Ian Jennings in Kenilworth’s first race over 1200m.

Bred by the Gold Star Stud, Supreme Orator was a R500 000 purchase from last year’s Cape Premier Yearling Sale.

His sire Oratorio’s other first crop SA winners include Listed East Cape Nursery runner up Sacred Oration (who won his first two outings) and Sentinel Stakes winner Arianos Bagofgold.

To date, Danehill’s triple G1 winning son has been represented by eight runners from his first local crop who have won or finished in the money.
