Maine Chance Farms’ high-class stallion Querari continues to come up with winners, and the champion son of Oasis Dream was at it again on Tuesday.
Querari was responsible for two winners at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Tuesday, with his son Congressman winning the third race and another son, King’s Quest, victorious in the sixth race.
The Andre Nel trained Congressman was given a fine ride by Corne Orffer to claim Tuesday’s Join The Euphoria Middle Stakes (1800m).
Orffer bought his mount to the outside and the pair kept galloping strongly to score by half a length.
Bred and owned by Sabine Plattner, four-year-old Congressman has won or finished second or third in each of his last five starts.
In total, Congressman has won three of 11 starts.
Out the Captain Al mare Twinkle Toes, and bred on the same cross as graded stakes winners Head Honcho, Kampala Campari and Questioning, Congressman is a three-parts brother to the Querari sired G1 winner Querari Falcon.
Querari sons King’s Quest and Afrique finished first and second respectively in Tuesday’s Perfectly Placed Class 4 (1600m).
The Candice Bass-Robinson trained King’s Quest pulled clear, under Grant Van Niekerk to win by a length and a half.

King’s Quest, who is out of the Western Winter mare Keyra, has won twice from ten starts.
His G1 winning sire Querari has had another good season in 2024-2025, with his flagbearers including G1 Wilgerbosdrift H F Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut Stakes winner Cosmic Speed and G1 Hollywoodbets Durban July contender Rainbow Lorikeet.
