Drakenstein Stud’s four time G1 winning sire What A Winter is enjoying another great season in 2022-2023, and the multiple Equus Champion enjoyed yet more success this season when coming up with the first two winners on the Hollywoodbets Greyville card on Wednesday.

What A Winter’s three-year-old daughter Stormz Power got off the mark when she captured the first race on Wednesday, the Catch KZN Racing Via Live Streaming on www.galloptv.co.za Maiden Plate (F&M) over 1000m.
Under Tristan Godden, the Peter Muscutt trained filly got up in the shadow of the post to score by a short-head.
Bred by Hemel ‘N Aarde Stud, Stormz Power had finished second last time out.

Under Siphesihle Hlengwa, the Garth Puller trained three-year-old pulled well clear in the closing stages to win emphatically by nearly one and three-quarter lengths.
Bred by Alec Foster, Winter Baron, who is out of the Count Dubois mare Countess Of Rhynie, has now won twice from just five starts.
