His three-year-old daughter Tladi Mothwana made a mockery of her 20-1 starting price when she romped home to win the Tote -Join The Race Maiden Plate (1200m) as she liked.
Under Anthandiwe Mgudlwa, the Vengi Masawi trained filly pulled well clear in the closing stages to win on debut by three lengths.

Bred by Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein, Tladi Mothwana is owned by Hollywood Racing.

Tladi Mothwana, who is out of the Right Approach mare Lizzie Arden, was a R300 000 buy from the 2024 Cape Yearling Sale.

Her sire Buffalo Bill Cody has been in good form of late, with the stallion’s son Pistol Pete winning the G3 New Turf Carriers Merchants recently, and another son, G1 Mercury Sprint hero Buffalo Storm Cody, making it four wins in a row with an impressive recent win at the Vaal.
