Maine Chance Farms’ top-class sire Querari has made a fine start with his two-year-olds this season.
The champion son of Oasis Dream came up with another smart looking two-year-old winner when Querari colt Master Magician made a winning debut at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday.

Under Tristan Godden, the Michael Miller trained colt romped home to win the Gallop TV Maiden Juvenile Plate (1000m) by nearly five and a half lengths.

Bred by Waterford Stud, Sunday’s winner races for Sterling Miller and Ben Sahd.

Master Magician, who is out of the Silvano mare Flander’s Field, is bred on the same cross as graded stakes winners Bavarian Beauty, Cosmic Speed, Homely Girl, Rainbow Lorikeet and Wonderwall.

He is the second two-year-old winner this season for Querari, with Querari currently South Africa’s Leading Sire of 2YOs for 2025-2026.
