The now Riethuiskraal Stud based Erupt came up with a smart debut winner on Thursday.
Erupt’s two-year-old son Got The Feeling made the perfect start to his career when winning first time out at the Vaal.
Trained by Fanie Bronkhurst, Got The Feeling powered home, under Raymond Danielson, to land the #Youcanbetonus! Maiden Plate (1200m) by nearly three-parts of a length.
Bred by Narrow Creek Stud, the colt was a R175 000 purchase from the 2024 KZN Yearling Sale.
Got The Feeling, who is out of the Elusive Fort mare Elusive Stars, is the fourth two-year-old winner this season for the dual G1 winner Erupt.
This tally includes Hierarchy, a runner in Saturday’s G1 Allan Robertson Championship.
Erupt has five lots on offer at the KZN Yearling Sale.
