Champion Elusive Fort, who will stand at Oldlands Stud this season, enjoyed more feature race success on Sunday.
His three-year-old son Kaalvoet claimed his biggest win to date when he won the Listed In Full Flight Handicap (1100m) at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

The Clinton Binda trained gelding raced well off the pace early on. Jockey Calvin Habib brought his mount with a strong late run, which saw Kaalvoet get up in the shadow of the post to win going away by nearly half a length.

Bred by Peter De Beyer, Kaalvoet is owned by Hollywood Racing.
Out of the Ideal World mare Ideal Lady, Kaalvoet has won three of 13 starts with Sunday’s win taking his earnings to R368 746. Sunday’s winner could now be aimed at the G2 Golden Horse Sprint.

His triple G1 winning sire Elusive Fort has enjoyed a good season in 2025-2026, with the son of Fort Wood also responsible for this season’s G2 Wilgerbosdrift Bridget Oppenheimer SA Oaks winner Littlemissmillion as well as the high-class six-year-old Royal Invitation. The latter has won three of her last four starts including the Listed TAB Spook Express Stakes.
