Maine Chance Farms’ well performed stallion Erupt came up with his fifth stakes winner on Saturday.
Erupt colt Taxhaven claimed his biggest win to date when he ran out a courageous winner of the Listed TAB Gold Bowl (3200m) at Turffontein.

Taxhaven, winning for just the second time on Saturday, defied his 100-1 starting price with a hard-fought win.
Under a strong ride from Malesela Katjedi, the Paul Matchett trained four-year-old bested the evergreen champion Nebraas to land Saturday’s R400 000 by a neck.

Bred by Oldlands Stud, Taxhaven is out of the Medicean mare Road Tax.

His dual G1 winning sire Erupt has enjoyed a good run of success of late, with his recent winners including the classy World Sports Betting Highland Night Cup victor Shoot The Rapids.
