Klawervlei Stud’s inform sire, and former Equus Champion Sprinter, Captain Of All enjoyed more success at Kenilworth on Tuesday.

The triple G1 winner was responsible for a smart looking two-year-old winner in the form of Linebacker who got off the mark when making a winning debut over 1200 metres.

Under jockey Oswald Noach, Linebacker powered home in the closing stages to get up and score by a length, leaving some well related two-year-olds in his wake.

Trained by Vaughan Marshall, the gelded Linebacker is out of the Redoute’s Choice mare Thin Red Line.

Bred by Klawervlei Stud, Linebacker was a R425 000 buy from the 2019 Cape Premier Yearling Sale.

He is a sixth two-year-old winner for Captain Of All this season, with the latter also responsible for such smart juveniles as G2 Pospack SA Fillies Nursery/The Citizen Ruffian Stakes winner Springs Of Carmel as well as the stakes placed pair of Captain’s Flo and Emblem Of Hope.
The Riverton Stud bred champion made a fine start with his first crop having already produced four stakes horses thus far headed by G2 TAB/Betting World Dingaans winner, and G1 SA Derby runner up, Shango.
