Klipdrif Stud’s popular stallion Elusive Fort had a most impressive juvenile winner at Kenilworth on Tuesday.

The triple G1 winner’s daughter Elusive Heart, bred by the Narrow Creek Stud, defied long odds to romp home by four lengths on debut over 1200m, and she looks a smart sort in the making.
Produced by the winning Indigo Magic mare Redeem My Heart, Elusive Heart, trained by Glen Kotzen, was a R100 000 buy from last year’s Val De Vie Yearling Sale.
Elusive Heart, whose connections could target some of the juvenile features with their promising filly, is the second two-year-old winner this season for Equus Champion Elusive Fort, following debut winner and G1 Allan Robertson Championship contender Crymeariver.
By champion sire Fort Wood, Elusive Fort has made a superb start to his stud career, and has been represented by G1 performers in each of his first three crops to race.

He is the covering sire on one lot at the upcoming Mares, Weanlings & Fillies For Stud Select Sale, and is also represented by lots on both the 2017 Klawervlei Farm Sale and KZN Yearling Sale.
