Blue blooded 3yo colt Jack Yeats, a ¾ brother to Moutonshoek’s G1 winning stallion The United States, showed his class with an emphatic two and a half length maiden win at Naas on Monday.
Trained by Aidan O’Brien, Jack Yeats was making just his third start in Monday’s 2000m race having been just been beaten into second place last time out.

A 3yo son of Galileo, the regally bred Jack Yeats is out of the top class Dansili mare Fire Lily –a multiple group winner whose victories included the G3 Anglesey Stakes at two and G3 Ballyogan Stakes a year later.

Fire Lily is one of four group winners produced by G3 Prix d’Arenberg winner Beauty Is Truth, a Pivotal ¾ sister to multiple G1 winner Immortal Verse.

Beauty Is Truth is also dam of the G1 winning siblings The United States (Ranvet Stakes) and Hydrangea (Matron Stakes, British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes), as well as 2019 classic hope Hermosa.

The United States, Hydrangea and Hermosa all share their outstanding sire Galileo with Jack Yeats.

A handsome chestnut, The United States, who earned over $2.2 million during his career, will be represented strongly as a covering sire at both the upcoming Cape Mare & Weanling Sale and the Moutonshoek Dispersal Sale.
