Ridgemont Highlands’ outstanding stallion Dynasty is enjoying another superb season in 2018-2019 and the former July winning champion was at it again on Thursday.
Dynasty had a treble of winners on Thursday, with his progeny scoring at both Kenilworth on Turffontein on the day.

The Highlands bred Vforvictory, a full-brother to Dynasty’s triple G1 winning son Jackson and G3 winner Heartland, shed his maiden in smart style when scoring over 1800m at Kenilworth on Thursday.
The promising 3yo, who had finished second to the very smart Senatla when making his debut, had been placed at his two previous starts and appeared to enjoy the step up to 1800m of Thursday’s race.
Despite being drawn somewhat wide, Vforvictory powered clear under Anton Marcus to post a 1.5 length win for trainer Brett Crawford (who had previously conditioned Jackson himself). Thursday’s winner was the top lot sold off at the 2017 Emperors Palace Select Yearling Sale when he fetched R3 800 000.
His sire enjoyed a quickfire double at Turffontein on the same day, when Dynasty sons Wonderous Climber and Noble Secret won races four and five respectively.
Bred by Highlands, the progressive four-year-old Wonderous Climber made it four wins in a row when he powered home from well off the pace to land a handicap over 2400m for Sean Tarry and Luke Ferraris.
Now a five time winner, Wonderous Climber is unbeaten in three starts over 2400m and he should not stop here.
Dynasty is also the sire of the very talented 4yo Noble Secret, who showed his class when romping home to a four and a quarter length romp in a pinnacle stakes over 2400m on Thursday night.
The classy Moutonshoek bred gelding (who has thrived since being fitted with a tongue-tie) had been fourth in the G3 London News Stakes at his previous outing and won as he liked for Mike de Kock and Randall Simons on the night.

Third in last season’s G1 SA Derby, Noble Secret took his earnings to over R665 000 with his win on Thursday. Out of the Al Mufti mare Arabian Secret, the gelding, who looks destined for feature race company, is bred on the same Dynasty/Al Mufti cross as graded stakes winners Barrack Street and De Kock.
His sire, who has four Equus Outstanding Stallion titles to his name, has ten lots on Wednesday’s Cape Premier Yearling –including a three-parts brother to Wonderous Climber (Lot 22).
