Promising two-year-old Whatsdamatterwithu made it back to back wins when he won the tenth race on Tuesday. Under Calvin Habib, the Clinton Binda trained gelding was always up with the pace in Next Turffontein Racemeeting Saturday 25 July Classified Stakes (1160m) to score for Hollywood Racing by a short-head.

Bred by Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein, Tuesday’s winner is out of the Rich Man’s Gold mare Mary Lou.
Whatsdamatterwithu is one of six two-year-old winners for Fire Away this season.

Fire Away had enjoyed another double at Fairview last Friday where his daughter Greek Heiress won the third race and son Wild Fig claimed the fourth race.

The handsome bay is a son of outstanding sire War Front, who was recently pensioned from stud duties.
A son of Danzig, War Front has sired more than 120 stakes winners including champions Declaration Of War, Air Force Blue, U S Navy Flag, and Brave Anna, as well as the highly successful US stallion Omaha Beach.
