Ridgemont’s top-class stalllion Rafeef had a quickfire double at Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Wednesday.
Not only did Rafeef filly Oh Isabella win the second race on Wednesday, but the stallion’s gelded son Gold Dust scored a popular win in Wednesday’s seventh race.

The Lucinda Woodruff traibned Oh Isabella received a fine, front running ride from Gavin Lerena to win the Join The Race Coast Turf Club Maiden Plate (F and M) (1600m).
The three-year-old daughter of Rafeef kept finding and galloped on strongly to shed her maiden by a neck.
Bred by Narrow Creek Stud, Oh Isabella, who was making her fourth start on Wednesday, is Wednesday’s winner is out of the Western Winter mare Isabelle, a half-sister to the G1 winners Eden Roc and Sandringham Summit.

Rafeef’s second success on Wednesday came when his Michelle Rix trained son Gold Dust justified strong betting support to win the Lucky Fish Mystic Fortune Class 4 (1250m).
Under a well judged ride from Sifisokuhle Bungane, the Rafeef gelding ran on down the inside of the track to get up and win by half a length.
Bred by Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein, Gold Dust is out of the Dynasty mare Oojoba.
The five-year-old races for Messrs D Florence, P J Maujean, C S Shapiro & Jody van Heerden & Royal Legacy Horse Racing Syndicate.

A son of legendary sire Redoute’s Choice, Rafeef enjoyed a tremendous season in 2025-2026.
